Round neckline, fitted bodice with delicate lace inset detailing, stretch polyester-spandex base, high waist, mini cut. The half-and-half construction (smooth + lace) reads textured up close, clean from across the room.

The detail

The lace runs at the bust and shoulders only — enough to feel handcrafted, not so much it goes 'doily'. Smooth body below the lace, no pinch at the hips. Sits exactly where you'd want a mini to sit.

really like it

The mini dress held up nicely and didn't crease much when I sat through a long lunch. Small nitpick, the care tag says hand wash only which is a little annoying for an everyday piece. Pairs well with the cropped jacket I already had.

This mini dress shocked me with how neat the topstitching is around the neckline. No loose threads anywhere and it lays smooth across the bust.

Middling

The shoulder seams on this mini start to feel stiff and ropey after I've worn it a few hours, which kills the comfort for me. Looks alright, just doesn't wear easy.
